1) Can I make a template to avoid re-typing common fields like provider address and federal tax number on every form?
Yes. Type all of the necessary data into a blank form. Then, save it to your Desktop (or any location) as Template. Now, when you want to begin a new form, double-click (or Open) the Template file. You may also drag the Template file into the Dock, but it must be placed on the side containing the Trash Can.
2) How do I reuse a patient's claim so that I do not have to fill in the entire form for each new month of transactions?
When you are done filling out a patient's claim for the first time, save it to Documents, or to a folder that you have created for that individual patient. For instance, if the claim is for January and one page in length, save it as "Smith, John January 2005 page 1 of 1". Then, when you need to fill out the transactions for the month of February, open the January file that you have saved. Change the transaction data as needed and save the file as "Smith, John February 2005 page 1 of 1". You have now completed two months worth of claims, without having to type the entire form twice.
